About Us

          Foodmancing the Girl was a concept that developed from three major factors. First, My love of food. I love everything from cutting edge molecular gastronomy to the most simple of Ethiopian country dishes. I am as adventurous as they come, well at least when it comes to culinary matters
         The second influencing factor is my love for The Girl. To be honest, I have been in love with her since sixth grade. She has returned this love, well at least she has recently. Sadly, her culinary experiences run the typical rural southern gamut, from greasy fried chicken to asparagus in a can. To make this work, I need to take her out into the world, one forkful at a time
         The third factor that led to the creation of this blog is how tired The Girl was of hearing me prattle on about this restaurant, or that chef. Finally she said to me "Why don't you just write a blog?" I'm not sure that's exactly what she said, but lets go with it. What ever her actually statement, I did write a blog, I did love the Girl, and I continue to show her the foods that amaze and delight me.
